Ethan loves books and I love thqt he loves books. About 1/2 of his Hanukkah presents this year was books from Once Upon a Time bookstore in Montrose, and I’m often embarrassed how quickly we spend enough to get their customer loyalty rewards.
The problem is that Ethan has realized that I will [almost] always read him a book upon request. (Yes, even Billy Twitters for the 1,000,000th time) - and he uses this to push his bedtime out as late as possible. He will grab a book from his shelf, hand it to me and crawl under his covers with a big smile on his face. I read him the book and he jumps out of bed, grabs another book and starts over.
I’ve had to limit him to three or 4 books per night. It just makes me feel horrible to say no books to him (ever) but I know that he will just not go to sleep otherwise. Silly little boy
